La via del Guerriero

Un Guerriero sa che sta aspettando e sa cosa sta aspettando, e mentre aspetta si gode la vista del mondo. L’impresa suprema del guerriero sta nel godere la gioia dell’infinito.

 

 

Le azioni degli uomini non influenzano più il guerriero quando questi non nutre più aspettativa di sorta. Una strana pace diventa la forza dominante della sua vita. Egli ha assimilato uno dei concetti su cui si fonda la via del guerriero: il distacco.

 

Il distacco non significa automaticamente saggezza, ma è comunque un vantaggio perché consente al guerriero di fermarsi a rivalutare le circostanze, a riconsiderare le posizioni. Per poter utilizzare in modo corretto e coerente questa pausa, tuttavia, il guerriero deve lottare senza sosta per tutta la vita.

 

Mi son già abbandonato al potere che governa

il mio destino.

E non mi aggrappo ad alcunché,

per non avere alcunché da difendere.

Poiché non ho pensieri, vedrò.

Poiché non temo nulla, ricorderò me stesso.
